Madison College to host Summer Youth Camps

Madison College will host several youth camps at the Reedsburg and Portage Campus locations this summer.

Reedsburg Campus, 300 Alexander Avenue, Madison College Youth Discovery Camps:

Intro to Nursing Camp
June 26, 9am-3pm
Grades 8-12
Participants will work directly with our instructors for a fun and educational introduction to nursing, including real-life simulated emergency. Held at Madison College Reedsburg campus.

EMS Summer Camp
July 30, 31, August 1
Grades 8-11
This camp will explore emergency service including CPR, trauma, and medical emergencies, and first responder wellness. Participants will work with our instructors to differentiate between minor and major injuries and to provide emergency treatment in some life-threatening situations.

The Portage Campus, 330 W. Collins Street, will host a variety of camps this summer, too:

Fun with Torches / $75
Campers will design and build projects from start to finish, creating pieces they can show off with pride! Two sessions available. Ages 11-14, June 17-21; June 24-28, 9am -3pm

Camp Triple C / $75
This camp will introduce the student to basic manufacturing processes and to CAD/CAM/CNC Manufacturing processes. Ages 11-14, July 22-26, 9am-3pm

High School Advanced Welding / $75
Campers will learn more advanced welding processes. Ages 13-17

Mini Manufacturing World / $35
This camp will offer a hands-on experience of all the different departments that help create, assemble, and distribute products. Ages 13-17, June 17-19, 9am to 2pm
