Taste of Portage Car Show Top Ten award winners announced

2023 Taste of Portage Car Show winners announced

The Taste of Portage Car Show was held under beautiful skies in downtown Portage on Saturday, August 26. A record number of 160 classic vehicles turned out to line Cook and DeWitt streets for the show. That number of vehicles tops the previous record — last year’s 146.

Proceeds from each year’s car show support the Portage Archery group, an organization that helps park and register the vehicles, and then tally votes for the awards. This year’s show was sponsored by Napa Auto Parts of Portage and Baraboo, Portage Pizza Hut, and Cordell’s Automotive.

Participants of the car show had the opportunity to pick their ten favorite vehicles. Congratulations to this year’s Top 10 award winners (in no particular order):

Jason Grossenbacher – 1958 Pontiac Bonneville
Vietta Kampen – 1955 Chevy 3100 2nd Series
Chris Kufahl – 1959 Chevy Viking
